Hi, I’m Dr. Vanessa Artiga.

Who I am

I’m Dr. Vanessa Artiga, a pediatrician. I graduated from the University of El Salvador and trained as a breastfeeding counselor in Mexico.

I practice child-development care because caring for a child means caring for their whole world: their body, their sleep, their food, and their emotions. Beyond the symptom that brings you in, I look at everything that shapes your child’s well-being.

My vision

I want to replace the idea of the pediatrician who scolds with one who walks beside you, beside your child and beside you.

A visit isn’t an exam to pass; it’s a safe space to grow together. Moms and dads leave guided and calm, never ashamed.

I believe well-informed parents are the best gift for their children. So I explain without jargon, with everyday examples, and I answer every question, even the ones that feel small.

My goals

No family should go without a good pediatrician because of distance, whether they’re in El Salvador or abroad.

I want to make quality pediatric care reachable for everyone, including immigrant families and Salvadorans living abroad, through international telemedicine.

Distance shouldn’t decide who gets good care. That’s why I see families in Spanish who, wherever they are, want a pediatrician who truly listens and understands them.
