These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of this website and the booking of visits with Dr. Vanessa Artiga (“the doctor”, “we”). By booking a visit or using the site, you confirm that you have read and accept them.
If you book for a minor, you confirm that you are their mother, father or legal guardian and are authorized to do so.
About our services
Chiquicuidados offers in-person pediatric care in Santa Tecla, El Salvador, and telemedicine, plus support with lactation, sleep, nutrition and stimulation.
Our care does not replace emergency services. If your little one has a medical emergency, go to the nearest emergency service right away.
How you book and the prepayment
Visits are booked on the site and confirmed over WhatsApp. To secure your spot, the prepayment must be completed within the time shown when booking (currently 30 minutes); otherwise the spot is released automatically.
The exact amount and available payment methods (bank transfer, card or PayPal) are shared with you over WhatsApp. Prices are not shown on the site.
Telemedicine
Telemedicine allows a remote visit, but it has limits: some situations need an in-person assessment. The doctor may recommend an in-clinic visit or a referral whenever she considers it necessary for your child's safety.
You are responsible for a suitable connection and a private space for the virtual visit.
Your responsibilities
- Provide truthful, complete information about your child and their health.
- Arrive on time and, for telemedicine, be available at the booked time.
- Use the site and contact channels respectfully and lawfully.
Nature of the care
The doctor acts diligently and in line with good medical practice, but medicine does not guarantee specific outcomes. Recommendations are based on the information available and clinical judgment in each case.
Intellectual property
The texts, photographs, illustrations, the kite logo and other elements of the site belong to Chiquicuidados or are used with permission, and are protected by law. They may not be reproduced or used without prior written authorization.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms when needed. We will post the current version on this page with its update date; by continuing to use the site or booking new visits, you accept the current version.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of El Salvador. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of El Salvador.
